In 1954, a group of passionate winegrowers founded the first cooperative winery in the Tuscan Maremma near Grosseto. Year after year, with the tenacity, dedication and enthusiasm of the people of Maremma, the winery has improved its production through the rigorous selection of grapes and the refinement of the winemaking method. Today the winery, under the name Cantina 'I Vini di Maremma' S.a.c., signs wines produced from grapes warmed by the Tuscan sun, cultivated by more than 380 Maremma farmers. In the Wine Shop you will find, together with the wines, a selection of the best typical Maremma products such as extra virgin olive oil, the renowned Tuscan pecorino cheese, mushrooms, preserves, cold cuts, honey... and a corner dedicated to Organic Products.

The vineyards are located at the foot of the hills in the province of Grosseto and cover more than 380 hectares. The aptitude of this land for the production of wine is very ancient and dates back to Roman and Etruscan times: even today some of the most prestigious vines have found their ideal habitat in Maremma, thanks to the excellent quality of the soil, the ability of the vine-dressers of this land and a particularly favourable microclimate. Sangiovese is one of the best red wines, together with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. As for the whites, Vermentino, Trebbiano Toscano, Ansonica and Malvasia.
