À propos du vignoble et des vins

We are in Tuscany, exactly in the province of Florence.
Probably founded in the 8th century, and certainly known since 780 AD, Cerreto Guidi has always been known for its highly wine-producing territory, which is practiced above all in the south-eastern area of the municipality. In the gentle hills of San Zio, where the compositions of the soil and the optimal exposures of the plots create particulary favorable conditions for the cultivation of the wine.

In this scenario, and in a regional context among the
most prestigious of the whole Peninsula and of the whole world if we talk about wine, we meet the Palumbo farm, since ts ongins committed to pursuing what is still today the objective that represents the company's philosophy to produce wines that meet the
highest quality standards.
Recently reorganized in its managerial and administrative processes, the Palumbo company can now enjoy
important investments made over the last few years, and has been modernized both for the vinevards and for the cellar premises.

Among the rows, the plants are bred with rigor and method, reserving them maximum attention, in full respect of the environment, nature and ecosystem. In the cellar, things are no different, and using the most modern enological technologies, the oldest territorial traditions are respected. In this way, simply excellent wines come to life, starting from the White of Tuscany (Viogner, malvasia of candia, trebbiano) to the Chianti (Sangiovese, cabernet souvignon), without of course neglecting "Le Giare", a sangiovese-based red that is left to rest in large handmade terracotta jars. In essence, wines that refer to the name "Palumbo", to be discovered one by one, in a journey back in time through what is the most authentic and the most authentic wine-making Tuscany.
Real wines, sincere wines.
