About Winery and Wines

Cantine della Bardulia was founded on 20th February 1980 by a group of farmers who wanted to make wine from their own vineyards. It was born as a farmers cooperative, the winery started producing good wine and it was appreciated by a small share of the local market. Subsequently the partners have decided to invest and to create their own winery. The new “premises” started working in 1989 vintage. Step by step the activity has increased, production has grown as so the customers who are really happy about services and products. At present the winery is located in an area of about 17.000 m2. The warehouse stores about 200.000 Hl. and there are processed about 300.000 quintals of grapes. The company makes must, doc wines and IGT wines as well as olive oil. Thanks to the cooperation of its associates the winery counts on high quality products both for oil and wines. The associates carefully monitor the use of fertilizers and they take care of all processes connected to farming. As regards grapes transformation, they are all processed under controlled temperature and they use the most modern techniques. Associates boast a lot of experience in this field and because of this they have enlarge the variety of products. The winery obtains wines under controlled temperature also from Montepulciano and Lambrusco grapes. The company is still expanding, it uses the newest procedures and techniques. Quality control is held thanks to a fully equipped laboratory that grants the highest quality of products.

The company has been certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. The company sells and exports bulk quantities and it also has a shop located inside the premises where you can buy and taste all products. In 2008 the company has changed look and started bottling and it is now one among the most important producers in the southern area. At present it sells 70% of the products in Italy and 30% abroad, mainly in Europe. Short term plans forecast exports in America and in Asia.
