Capoverso's vineyards lie between Cortona and Montepulciano, on the hills that face both little towns. The vineyards cover about 11.6 ha., the density of plants varies from 6000 plants per ha in the more recent ones to 4000 plants per ha in the historical vineyard that comprises also some plants carrying white grapes. We grow Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah. According to the structure of the terrain, with slopes going down that are never too steep,we use spur cordon training.
