About Winery and Wines

The Project is based on the establishment of small production unit. This follows the concept of "Boutique Winery" and indicates exclusivity and craftsmanship in wine making. Cavas La Capilla has two vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina. The first one is in Ugarteche, in the Department of Lujan de Cuyo, prime Argentine Malbec territory. Production in this vineyard is 70% Malbec and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The second vineyard is in the Tupungato region, in the Uco Valley, a place that offers outstanding conditions for the production of grapes to create wines of the highest quality. It offers unique conditions for Malbec, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is also suitable for white wine varieties such as Torrontés, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin and Pinot Noire of outstanding winemaking quality. They are used either for still wines or as a base for sparkling wines.
