Champagne Charles Clément
About Winery and Wines
Founded in 1956 by 22 visionary winegrowers, our winery is located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, an iconic region of Champagne.
Today, it brings together more than 60 passionate winegrowers, cultivating 120 hectares of vineyards across seven villages.
From pressing to the final dressing of our cuvées, we are committed to preserving the cherished Champagne traditions while modernizing our techniques to produce wines of the highest quality.
Our cellar master, Pascal Mathon, oversees each stage of the champagne-making process with a constant pursuit of excellence, combining traditional expertise with innovation.
Our champagnes draw their richness and personality from the harmonious blend of the three emblematic Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay.
Pinot Noir, the dominant variety in our Côte des Bar region, brings structure, power, and intense red fruit aromas.
Meunier, supple and fruity, adds roundness and balance to our cuvées.
Chardonnay, less prevalent in our vineyards, is cherished for its freshness, finesse, and aging potential.
It is the subtle alliance of these grapes, carefully tailored for each cuvée by our cellar master, that gives our champagnes their unique character—both authentic and elegant.
