Château Les Graves de Viaud is a family-owned estate located in Côtes de Bourg, taken over in 2010 by Philippe Betschart and his mother Françoise. After careers unrelated to wine, they decided to reconnect with their Bordeaux roots and converted the estate to biodynamic farming. In 2014, they created the brand "La Colombine," which includes their natural wines made from their own grapes and white grapes provided by a partner. All their wines are certified organic, and the reds are Demeter-certified biodynamic. 
 
Spanning 15 hectares, including 5.5 hectares of vineyards on south-facing clay-gravel soils, the estate is committed to environmentally friendly agriculture. Château Les Graves de Viaud is our range of wines in the AOC Côtes de Bourg. Exclusively sourced from our family-owned estate, these are exceptional wines that evoke strong emotions. They are representative of our appellation while also offering an innovative vision of Bordeaux with more fruity and fresh notes in the wines. The gentle and delicate aging process adds to their refinement.

La colombine is our brand which allows us to offer you different, experimental, original wines, but also to complete our range of chateau wines by buying grapes and to offer you white wines that I vinify in collaboration with winemakers who share the same values.
