Excellent red and white wine selections. Bought a couple bottles... yes, it's very good! True Nova Scotian wine! Not much parking available though so when it's busy, good luck finding a spot!

Stopped in for a wine tasting and then stayed for light snack in their restaurant Le Caveau.
They produce good wine which I will probably order from them online. They do provide mixed cases which is plus to mix and match.
The restaurant is farm to table and local sourced and sustainable. Had the charcuterie board which was amazing and the lobster/scallop chowder which was good but not a typical east coast chowder. The winery's ground were quite beautiful as well. Well worth the hour drive out from Halifax.

About Winery and Wines

We’ve taken a fresh approach to producing top quality Nova Scotia wines. While most modern wineries have adopted the trend of producing ‘Old World’ wines like Chardonnay, at Domaine de Grand Pré we believe Nova Scotia should develop its own varieties, styles, and vineyard procedures that will thrive with our local soil and oceanic climate. Our property has followed this practice by partnering with Agriculture Canada to develop hardy Nova Scotia grape varieties.
