About Winery and Wines

Our family of winemakers has been deeply involved in making wine for several generations. Our family is often cited as an example for its dynamic, creative approach. It has been innovative and a pioneer in a number of areas, developing and ensuring a unique know-how that has contributed significantly to the revival of the Swiss wine industry. We focus on allowing our wines to have their fullest expression and we put enormous energy into making sure that our quality requirements are the highest. A grape can bring to life the magic of a place, the personality of a terroir and the strength of a grape variety if the vine grows in an environment that, from a biological perspective, is healthy and natural. This conviction led us at one point to biodynamic production. This approach to cultivation, soundly organic, gives spectacular results, wines with intensive and diversified tastes. We systematically put aside any industrial logic and trendy mechanization; Domaine Henri Cruchon’s wines are, and always will be, cultivated by hand, with an artisanal approach, despite the cost of labour and the hard work this involves.
