This is the best winery I have ever been to (and I've been to a lot). We were so impressed with Heather and her staff that we decided to have our wedding there a couple of weeks ago, and it was the most perfect day ever. They are so knowledgeable, helpful and the wine is delicious! I would go there every weekend I was in town!

Just a wonderful experience here from start to finish. The tasting room is very nice and there is plenty to walk around and look at. We got to wander the grounds and look at the vines. The open air and sky were just what we needed to start the day. The gentleman in the tasting room was very knowledgeable, friendly and interesting. The wines are good and the port is awesome. They also waive 2 tasting fees with a purchase of 3 bottles.

First Colony is gorgeous! You take a really cool little dirt road through the vines to get to the winery. The tasting room is really nice and they have tons of outdoor seating. Their back deck is sort of in the woods so its more shaded and peaceful if you need to get out of the sun. They know what their doing. Highly recommend.
