overly sweet wines for my taste, but a fun tour. They certainly make the effort to enjoy their wine making and their wine slushies are delicious. We got a bottle and a glass besides the tasting with our tour, and learned a bit of the process in the process. Good times. I would recommend this to anyone in the area with an afternoon to spend.

After my crew told me there were no wineries in Florida I set out to challenge them - this little spot was the closest so off we set. At first I thought we'd been duped with the abundance of retail shopping out front but make no mistake this is a working winery! Their FREE tour was informative with up close views of the whole process, then a generous tasting - 7 varieties! Everyone in our group took bottles home. I was excited for Florida oranges being made into wine but found it tasted more like pith than juice, but the key lime is a MUST TRY.

My wife and I had a tour here, and it was interesting and fun. We learned about the way they make the fruit wine, we got to sample a whole range of fruit wines. We even got to take some wine with us in packaging that looked like CapriSun for adults.

They have some weird wines (coffee, hot pepper, carrot) and some wines that will make you not want to leave.

Go for a visit, you won't regret it.

Vince the owner, gave us a fantastic tour of the winery and then we were able to sample a ton of their wines. Yes, my wife and I bought a ton of wine after... It was great!

Best wine!!! We love this place. The wine is so tasty that 1 bottle is gone within minutes. The wine is light, fruity, and just damn delicious! Highly recommended!

About Winery and Wines

Our Florida winery, Florida Orange Groves Winery, is a third generation, family owned and operated, tropical fruit winery. We started out shipping and packing fresh citrus in the early 1970's in St. Petersburg, Florida. Eventually we grew our operation to include retail sales of fresh squeezed juice plus a gift shop. We started experimenting with fruit wines over 13 years ago and now are a 100% fully operational working winery. Florida Orange Groves Winery is Florida's original tropical fruit winery. Today we produce over 43 different varieties of premium tropical fruit wines, all of which are gluten free! If you are looking for a wine that taste like the fruit it's made from then look no further. Our Key Lime, Hurricane White Sangria, and Mango Mamma have won so many awards we have stopped counting. Come on in and try our award winning tropical fruit wines and you too will be saying "Finally! Wines that taste good!"
