Stopped here for a day trip visit. The building/greenhouse was a little bizarre but fun to sit in. Wines were surprisingly good.

One of he most beautiful vineyards we visited this fall (2015). The wines are not outstanding, at least not the regular tasting list. But the place is breathtaking. Plenty of space for a picnic. It may be a little difficult to get there but it is on GPS. Interestingly enough, the glass house is a controlled environment greenhouse for the tropical plants and banana trees, with real bananas. They do not serve food here, but the chocolate is just top notch. The B&B is really nice and cozy but it is usually booked solid. From here you can drive ti Dyke and finish your day at Stone Mountain before dusk. It is a hidden place on the top of the mountain worth the drive as the last stop to see the sunset.

This is a wonderful experience, from the hand made chocolates, expanded wine list to the tropical plants. Anyone wanting a unique experience in Jefferson's Virginia, needs to visit Glass House Winery. Where else can you enjoy a glass of wine while sitting in the tropics!

They don't have a lot of wines here but the ones they have are of good quality. Definitely a good sitting area to enjoy a bottle of wine afterwards too.
