Very good wine and a beautiful property. Wish there were a bit more chairs outside, at the shadow. We didn't do the full testing but rather bought a few wines by the glass - staff was very attentive!

Jefferson Vineyards wines range in quality. I love their petite verdot, and their Meritage and rose are likely to be a crowd-pleaser.
The space is lovely, and the staff is friendly and engaging.

This is one of the best wineries I've been to. $10 for 10 tastings and the tastings are all great. The pours aren't too generous and the place isn't exactly attractive but the wine is phenomenal

I actually don't drink wine, but my mom loves it here and it's a beautiful place to go and visit. The grounds are nice and so is the view. My mom really liked the wine glasses and goes back to get them whenever she visits. The only problem is there isn't much parking, and when I tried to bring my grandparents here we decided to leave because there was nowhere to park.

About Winery and Wines
Thomas Jefferson and Philip Mazzei first began the American wine revolution on our estate. Continuing this tradition, in 1981 we re-established two vineyards on our land – one of the earliest plantings in recent Virginia wine history. Over three decades we have replanted select sites with vines better suited to the soil profile. Today we have several grape varieties on four superb sites, all of which offer excellent air and water drainage, as well as protection from the prevailing weather patterns.
