The Winery Drocco Luigi Farm, also known as Cascina Pontepietra, has been a synonym of quality and variety since 1959. Its methods of production are rigorous and they are increasingly focused on the preservation of the environment and on healthy wines, through organic fertilizers, a very limited use of sulphites and no more use of herbicides and animal components in the winery. We are talking about a state-of-the-art producer who started producing Langa white wines when very few people believed in them. It was the 1980s when Drocco started the vinification of Arneis and Chardonnay, still devoided of the D.O.C. denomination. Drocco is a pioneer for adding “Alba”, a DOC wine, to the wide assortment of his winery in 2010 that is a careful blending of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, while its Alba label is dedicated to Luigi’s grandchildren, “Giorgia and Enrico”, and it represents the future of the winery.
