Stopped in for the 1st time on a warm February weekend. Looks like a nice place, can't wait to try that patio in the summer (when I'm sure I'll be rid of my current date who didn't want to sit out there with me on this trip!)

I am thankful to have this rustic, beautiful, relaxing winery nearby! They are such awesome supporters of their community! Glad to support Matus Winery-Plus their wine is delicious!

Great place to drink some amazing wines and relax. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. We love this place so much we even named our yorkie Matus!

Matus hit the Ohio winery experience on the head. Not only do they have a great atmosphere, with great service, a fun patio with games to play, and a dog friendly environment, they have some really good wines as well. Whereas many wineries in the region try to grow grapes more suited for California, this winery excels at taking grapes which grow well here in Ohio and building on them. Many of their wines include Concord grapes and their fruit wines are excellent. Their drier grapes, such as Chambourcin and Frontenac are great as well. We visited several times during our time here and will certainly return next time we are in town.
