Nice place. I didn't care for the reserve wines for the ridiculous price, but the normal wines were pretty good. Nice deck to sit and eat/drink. The lobby inside is extremely loud.

It's a great place to have get lunch (interesting panini and salad options) and what a view! I especially liked their Viognier and you can only by their wines at the winery.

If you go to this place to get some food, do not waste your time. We had 2 different hamburgers and wrap in the price range $12 - $16. Neither of these foods tasted good. Going to In and out burger would be better choice. I am not wine person but the wine tasted to me pretty good. My overall feeling is that this place is business more than anything else.

About Winery and Wines

Monte De Oro’s current wine selection reflects the interests of Monte De Oro’s family owners, whose goal it is to produce the best possible wine from grapes grown in Temecula Valley. Monte De Oro’s wines are crafted in a style to showcase the true varietal character of each grape variety, balanced with the fruit-forward terroir of Temecula Valley and subtle influences from extended barrel aging in French, European and American oak barrels. What sets Monte De Oro apart is our careful attention to vineyard practices, such as canopy management and controlling yields, as well as our delicate handling of the fruit and wine throughout its time in the winery. As a result Monte De Oro’s signature wines are elegant, balanced, well-structured and integrated, great with food or by themselves, and approachable in their youth but having a structure to improve for years to come.
