Everyone has a story, it seems, from back in the good old days, which makes a visit to Oliver Twist Estate Winery a trip down memory lane. The folks here just love to listen to these stories as they run their friendly tasting room, winery, and 17-acre vineyard. Chances are you will see an old classic car on site and lots of nostalgic memorabilia inside the wine shop. In fact, they even created a new wine series called "NOSTALGIA" based on this theme featuring fancy hot rods with cute pin up girls on the labels. Rockabilly Red is sure to be one you won't want to miss. Four generations of bare land transformation to agriculture in the Osoyoos area have been bred to the bone of her hands and heart of winemaker and owner Gina Harfman. Her ancestors had a vision, and she has carried on family traditions here on the Black Sage Bench in Oliver BC. The hands-on approach favoured by Gina and previous owner/winemaker Denice Hagerman, along with their attention to detail, ensure that the highest quality vinifera grapes are grown in the vineyard. The attention to detail continues throughout the entire winemaking process. The winery offers a large selection of wines: from dry to off-dry whites and roses, medium to full-bodied reds, dessert, port, and late harvest, and is best known for its dry Kerner—a rarity in the region.
