My favorite winery in the Door County area.
They have great wines, super friendly staff, things to sample, and you get six free wine tastings.
If you pay a small amount, you can go on the tour of the place. They'll show you the area the wine is made, a little video with the history of the farm and how it came to be a winery, and then you can get a little education in the grapes and fruit they grow.
Apparently they have apple and cherry picking but I haven't been there for those times :)

A lot of good things here!! Loved the wine tasting and bought plenty. Strawberry Rhubarb jam however has no rhubarb flavor and all you taste is sugar but it's a fun stop!

Free tasting of 7 whines of your choice and I cannot almost guarantee you will buy a bottler or two after. Don't get too excited. You only get a taste and not a pour. The shop also offers fresh cherries, cheeses and other country store items.

It's not far from the center of town in Fish Creek and it's worth the short drive.

The setting and service here are top notch. We really enjoyed it!

They'll give you a free wine tasting with six samples. They also have various cherry and locally harvested treats, including cherry turnovers and various jams for sale, plus much more. Their prices are very reasonable with several award winning wines around $10 per bottle.

The tour barely goes outside into the vineyard. The video and barn where they make wine was interesting. The wine tasting here was one of the best in Door County. Be sure to try the in-store salsas, dips, and beverages. We ended up getting a cider, a dipping sauce, and jam for snacking with crackers, cheese, and wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.

About Winery and Wines

Since 1955, the Lautenbach family has been planting, harvesting and producing quality fruit products in Door County, Wisconsin. Situated on 100 acres of blossoming orchards and lush vineyards, the family estate is home to a winery, cider mill and farm market. Established in 1985, the winery resides in a restored dairy barn and produces most of its award-winning wines from fruits grown on the property. Estate-grown fruits include cherries, apples, grapes, raspberries, and pears. Several styles of wine are offered for complimentary tasting and purchase, ranging from dry to sweet, pure fruit and grape varietals, in addition to sparkling and spiced. The spacious farm market offers hundreds of Door County and Wisconsin-made products, featuring the popular tart Montmorency cherry. Also available is fresh bakery, artisan cheese, jam, salsa, pie filling, wine accessories and more. Bob Lautenbach currently owns and operates Orchard Country Winery & Market with his daughters Carrie Lautenbach-Viste and Erin Lautenbach.
