Stopped here with some friends for some wine sampling and a picnic in a reserved area afterwards. Had a really good time and the views were beautiful. Would love to visit again.

Great wines, wonderful tour and nice facility. We toured the facility while tasting and then bought a few bottles and had a picnic overlooking the Valley.

Oh....and we bought several bottles to ship home.

I cannot believe it took me this long to realize I could leave a review on the site. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in San Francisco just about a year ago. While we were there, we decided to take a day trip to Napa & see what great winery we could stumble upon. It didn't take long before we wound up at Rutherford Hills. Upon arrival, we were notified the next tour would be in ten minutes. We couldn't have timed it any more perfect. The tour was wonderful and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! We loved our guide but sadly (1 year later) cannot recall the gentleman's name. We were served the yummy chocolate covered blueberries & Port wine at the end of the tour. Next, it was time to make our purchase of those blueberries and also our favorite Malbec from the day. Now, one year later as I am trying to decide what to get for my new husband, it dawned on me that our favorite wine from this trip would be perfect and that lead me to your site.

Wine tasting section a little closed in. Staff friendly enough. Picnic tables make the place however. Reminds one of Tahoe with all that wood.
