Sainte Marguerite en Provence is a legacy born from passion and dedication to the exceptional terroir of Provence. Founded 47 years ago by Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard, the estate began with a modest seven hectares but quickly established itself as a producer of prestigious wines, earning the esteemed Cru Classé des Côtes-de-Provence designation in 1955. Brigitte and Jean-Pierre recognized early on the extraordinary potential of Provence wines and committed to producing wines that exemplify elegance, quality, and the unique identity of their terroir.
Today, Sainte Marguerite en Provence spans 11 vineyard plots across 22 kilometers, an unusual feature within the AOP Côtes-de-Provence region that allows for an extraordinary diversity in soil, climate, and exposure. Now guided by Olivier and Enzo Fayard, the estate remains a family endeavor focused on crafting premium rosé, white, and red wines that are emblematic of Provence. With each vintage, Sainte Marguerite en Provence strives to capture the essence of its terroir through meticulous craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to sustainability.
At Sainte Marguerite en Provence, our wines reflect the region’s natural richness and are crafted with care, dedication, and expertise. Our “Les Fantastiques” collection represents the pinnacle of our Cru Classé Côtes-de-Provence, with each bottle a testament to the balance, structure, and finesse that define our estate. Made from the finest vineyard plots, the wines are certified organic and vegan, respecting the environment as they showcase the purity of the terroir.
We carefully select varietals to bring out unique expressions in our wines. Grenache offers an aromatic intensity with notes of white-fleshed and exotic fruits, complemented by Cinsault’s finesse and delicacy, particularly in our rosés. Rolle (Vermentino) adds an elegant aromatic lift, with subtle pear, lemon, and grapefruit notes enhancing the blend’s vibrant freshness and crystalline color. Our approach to blending results in wines that are both complex and refreshing, each sip delivering a harmonious experience with remarkable depth and character.
