About Winery and Wines
We, a husband and wife team-Willie & Tania de Waal creates handcrafted, certified organic wines on our family owned & managed farm, Schoone Oord (meaning beautiful place in Dutch) for 5 generations as vignerons. Situated on the beautiful south eastern slopes of Paardeberg (directly translated as Horse Mountain) in South Africa, halfway between Paarl & Malmesbury.
