About Winery and Wines

The wines, a Chianti Classics and a IGT Toscano Rosso, are made exclusively with estate-grown grapes. They must express the characteristics of territory and reality of countryside, which are not identical each. For this reason Chianti Classico Riserva is only made in the better vintages.

The vineyards grow in land-type franc-argillaceous declivities and are followed in such way to allow every plant an optimal development to enhance the quality of the grapes. The grape variety is Sangiovese, with one small presence of Merlot.The way the vines are grown is a spurie cordon and “alberello a parete”. All the fields currently under conversion to organic farming. The management in field, with particular respect of the plants and the nature, allows us to obtain high quality ripe grapes which create a wine that reflects the character of our farm.
