George's 'LEGEND' brand is well worth the little detour. The Wineries new grotto underground room in itself is well worth the visit. Their wines are nothing short of Exemplary - so much so, we have become staunch supporters of their product.

One of the best wineries in the Okanagan! It's worth the drive to Cawston, BC to try the Meritage and the Merlot!

About Winery and Wines

The name of Seven Stones Winery comes from the legend of the seven individual rock formations scattered throughout the Similkameen Valley. George Hanson is passionate to make a great wine that is French in style. Come and explore the recently finished Old-World style caves at Seven Stones! Built for wine storage and event hosting, the caves have recently been recognized as a world-class cellar. Seven Stones Winery cultivates 20 acres of bench land overlooking British Columbia's spectacular Similkameen River Valley. In 2000 and 2001 the estate vineyard was planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and followed up with a new planting in 2005 of Petit Verdot and Malbec. All of the grapes for Seven Stones wines are grown on site. George believes that the care and control in his vineyard translates to the quality of wines that he crafts. The Seven Stones tasting room and caves are located at 1143 Highway 3 and is a scenic 20 minute drive west of Osoyoos and 7 minutes east of Cawston.
