The wife and I stopped in this passed weekend by a recommendation from a family member with the opportunity to try some of their wines.
Andrew was our wine representative and was quite knowledgeable I must say. I saw some of their vineyards in the general area and pleasantly surprised by their excellent condition. I have worked vineyards myself years ago and can easily understand and appreciate what it entails as part of a good process in a final product.
bottom line, all the wines that We tasted were excellent in their category and in addition, some surprising combinations from different locations made remarkable and exciting differences in the final bottling.
Very impressive place to visit and enjoyment of fine wines.

Soda Rock Lane is definitely a country road and when you arrive at Stuhlmuller's vineyard/tasting-room, you feel like you really are in the countryside, away from the traffic. They have a nice tasting room, with outdoor seating and a nice setting. Output varies from 300 to 3000 cases so they're a small vineyard, but the Cabernet is great and was the reason we sought them out. They also have a good Chardonnay and a fortified 2002 Cab for $45.

Stuhlmuller's is open by appointment and worth the drive.
