Elio Taurino is the heir of a family which hands down the experience, love and passion for wine. "To make a good wine you need: ripe grapes, sound principles, time and a great passion." Taurosso produces wines exclusively from Salento's autochthonous grapes: Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Primitivo. It has also obtained many awards from the most prestigious international competitions. Taurosso is committed to the safeguarding of the productive and cultural heritage of Salento's typical products, in the recovery of the enogastronomical heritage and of the traditional productions of the territory.
