Moncaro has always been characterised by its deep roots in the territory of Le Marche region and its unique environment. Moncaro sees itself as an expression of the culture of Le Marche and a representation of the heart of this land. Like many other natives of this region, Moncaro is inspired by the desire to showcase its natural beauties and the products it yields by offering high quality services with character and style, in a language the world will understand but spoken with a local accent, fiercely proud of this venerable land and its historic culture. Moncaro boasts three winemaking cellars, as well as various vineyards, in the region’s three most prestigious grape-growing areas. The Cantina di Montecarotto is located in the heart of the classic “Castelli di Jesi” production zone, the Cantina del Conero in Camerano on the slopes of Monte Conero, and the Cantina di Acquaviva in southern Marche, in the upper reaches of the Piceno area. Moncaro observes a single overarching philosophy for its three wine-production sites: the belief that the highest work standards and uncompromised environmental stewardship will lead to the production of high-quality wines. Twenty years’ experience in organic farming has enabled us to bring all of our vineyards under the philosophy of supervised-control viniculture and environmentally friendly practices, with rigorous attention to achieving perfect growth and crop balance in the vines. The highest work standards in the cellar and the most advanced technologies have as their objective the creation of conditions that, at all times, yield very fine wines, which are expression of their local terroir and which preserve the varietal characteristics of the grapes.
