The Net Zero Wine Bar
About Winery and Wines
The Net Zero Wine Bar is a wine bar located in the Gràcia neighbourhood of Barcelona. It is owned by a winemaker with three personal projects: ELEFANTÍAQUES in Empordà, RUUUTS in Toledo, and the nomadic project of Francesc Nicolás.
Wine tastings at the Net Zero always follow an educational and hedonistic structure. They include an explanation of the agricultural practices and winemaking processes behind the wines being tasted, as well as an open discussion about the wines’ organoleptic properties, flavours, and aromas.
Tastings are always held in small groups (a maximum of 10 people) and take place behind closed doors, on days when the venue is not open to the public.
At the Net Zero, tastings are led by a winemaker and sommelier with over 20 years of experience in the wine industry.
ELEFANTÍAQUES is a regenerative agriculture and natural wine project based in the Baix Empordà, where four red wines are produced: a Garnacha, a Carinyena, a Syrah, and a blend of all three varieties.
Small production, estate-grown vineyards, and a strong Empordà character.

RUUUTS is a natural wine project based in Toledo, focused on old, estate-owned vineyards at altitude, with an approach firmly rooted in quality and sustainability. At RUUUTS, six wines are produced: two whites, two reds, one orange wine, and a traditional-method sparkling wine with extended ageing.
