We celebrated our wedding at Villa S.Andrea...

11/5/14
We celebrated our wedding at Villa S.Andrea in September. We´ve rented the 3 different farm houses and the rooms in the main villa. It was just incredible! All farm houses have an amazing charm, the view over the hills of Tuscany is just spectacular and the location is perfect for get-togethers with friends, sightseeing trips to Florence, Pisa and the region, a romantic stay and a culinary experience of the Tuscan cuisine.
But what impressed me most was the professionalism, the courteousness and the hospitality of the staff!! If you want to have to perfect, romantic, mesmerizing wedding - you should plan it at Villa S.Andrea. Martina, one of the staff members of Villa S.Andrea, helped me to plan the wedding. I´m in California and I can´t speak Italian so to plan a wedding in Tuscany seemed to be very challenging but Martina was just amazing! She has the perfect contacts to florists, catering, minister, rental services, etc., she was always patient and extremely competent when our guests kept changing their itinerary or had some special requests, she always kept track of all changes and she is always super friendly and charming!! She is the perfect wedding planner!!
I feel so grateful that we celebrated our wedding at Villa S. Andrea and all our guests agreed that this was of the most incredible and beautiful spots on earth.
We will come back for sure next time we are in Europe and rent the Villa Zobi (one of the farm houses of Villa S.Andrea) with a couple of friends.

Luogo molto accattivante, perfetto per cerimonie. Come viaggiatore l'ho trovato un po' peggiorato rispetto al passato poiché a parità di servizio i prezzi erano aumentati. In camera poi televisione molto economica e piccola.

About Winery and Wines

Villa S. Andrea is located in the heart of Tuscany , between the provinces of Florence and Siena. It covers over 600 hectares in the Chianti Classico region and it has the ancient village of Fabbrica at its center. In the village there is a church dedicated to Saint Andrea, the aging wine cellars and a villa. Around the village there are 50 hectares of vineyards with the best possible sun exposure, located at about 250 m above sea level. In addition you can find olive groves in the surrounding hills from which we produce our olive oil; and arable land where a variety of seasonal crops are grown. Some of these areas are irrigated with water coming from the two large lakes that belong to Villa S. Andrea. The property is part of the wildlife and hunting company Villa Sant'Andrea "Fabbrica - Santa Cristina". For those who enjoy walking and cycling, the surrounding area is covered with forests of oaks, acacias and cypress trees, where wild animals wander free. There are paths to explore this beautiful and pristine setting.

Villa S. Andrea's vineyards occupy about 50 hectares located between 250 to 300 m above sea level: the majority of the vineyards are Sangiovese; however there is also a small percentage of foreign varieties such as Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet-Sauvignon. Farmers employ advanced growing and oenological techniques but also keep with Tuscany's traditional cellar practices. The vineyards have recently been updated in accordance with new quality criteria: selected clones have been planted, planting density has increased and the output per plant has been reduced. These changes have been made to increase the quality of the wine.
