Bought a great bottle of 2011 Pinot Noir after a cold day Gold Mining- what a wonderful day in the freezing. Cold brisk New Zealand weather... Couldn't of been a better day! Xx

Stopped in for a cup of coffee...

5/9/16
Stopped in for a cup of coffee on a rainy day. The chai tea wasn't too sweet as many tend to make it, I prefer mine steaming and would have liked it hotter but it was still pleasant.

Cappuccino was hot and the roast of the beans didn't have a burned taste.

About Winery and Wines

It was the sea and not the land that originally held Wild Earths owner Quintin Quider’s heart. A commercial diver, he fell in love with New Zealand’s rugged landscape and moved with his partner and young family to Stewart Island, wishing to escape the rat-race that was life in his Southern California birthplace. The lure of wine growing soon followed as he developed a passion for New Zealand Pinot Noir. Never one to turn his back on a challenge, when the opportunity to purchase a vineyard in the worlds most Southern wine growing region presented itself, Quintin seized it. The Wild Earth journey had begun. Born from the rugged Central Otago landscape, Wild Earth embraces New Zealand pioneering spirit. Our production methods are an honest expression of the land and our unique food & wine experience remains true to its roots in this welcoming country. We live for the journey, sharing stories that enrich lives, making new friends along the way. Our creativity drives us forward and we strive to be an inspiration to everyone who knows us.
