Tasting of Botticino DOC Red Wines at Noventa

Visit the Noventa winery and explore the territory of Botticino, where the Botticino Marble is the backdrop of vineyards producing unique and typical wines. Botticino is a DOC with a unique blend of Barbera, Sangiovese, Marzemino and Schiava Gentile grapes.

The experience will start in the winery of Noventa, where you will be welcomed, and then continue in the vineyards of the estate. The vineyards in this territory enjoy the Mediterranean microclimate which is created in the valley, protected at the margins by the Prealps surrounding Brescia. The altitude of the vineyards (380m asl), the favorable exposure to the sun, and the clayey-calcareous nature of the soil create an ideal environment for the production of fine red wines.

After the visit, weather permitting, the tasting will take place directly in the vineyard. The expert team of Noventa will illustrate to you the characteristics of their wines, strongly connected to the different soils present in Botticino's territory. You will taste together 3 Botticino DOC red wines: ‘Colle degli Ulivi’, a fresh and sapid wine, ‘Pià de la Tesa’, characterized by its elegance, and ‘Gobbio’, a wine of great importance and structure, full-bodied and velvety, awarded in many vintages with three 'glasses' (the maximum score) by Gambero Rosso. The tasting will be accompanied by a selection of typical cold cuts and cheeses from the valleys of Brescia.
