Here is what's in store for you

Spend 2 nights in the beautiful Casas do Côro and explore the renowned Douro Superior wine region on a special train tour!

Upon your arrival at Casas do Côro, you will be offered a welcome glass of sparkling wine Caves de São João Bruto Reserva and shown to your room. You'll have the rest of the evening to settle in.

The next morning, after breakfast, it will be time to head to the train station of Pocinho. From here you'll depart on a train tour across the spectacular landscape of the Douro Superior region, always by the water.
During this tour you will be able to admire emblematic places like Quinta do Vale Meão and Quinta do Vesúvio, the Crown jewels of the famous wine-producing lady Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira; Quintas das Vargellas of Taylors’ wine cellars; Cachão da Valeira, a renowned place where Forrester Baron lost his life; Quinta do Ventozelo; Romaneira, Foz, Roriz, Vale Dona Maria, La Rosa, Seixo Panascal, Napoles,Valado, Crasto or Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo.

For lunch, you will stop at the Castas e Pratos restaurant and wine bar. Afterward, you will visit the Douro Museum to learn about the history and culture of the Douro wine region, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

In the evening, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasting dinner at Casas do Côro's restaurant Casão do Largo, which includes an amuse-bouche, a starter, a soup, a fish dish, a meat dish, and a dessert buffet, all paired with the tasting of 4 wines.
At the end of the dinner, a night walking tour will take place. You will get the chance to discover some of the best views over Casas do Côro and the beautiful historical village of Marialva, all immersed in the magic of silence.

On your last morning at Casas do Côro, you'll join a walking tour to Marialva's castle and discover the vast historical, religious, architectural, and natural heritage of this historic village. Here you will rediscover the beauty and silence that you thought no longer existed, before heading back to the hotel for your check-out.
