Zerbosco: Truffle Hunt Among the Vineyards with Wine Tasting & Lunch
Here is what's in store for you
Truffle hunting at Zerbosco is truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Accompanied by an expert truffle hunter, you will immerse yourself in the surrounding countryside in search of the “black gold.” During an easy walk suitable for everyone (not accessible for strollers), you will discover which trees are most favorable for truffle growth, how truffles must be carefully extracted from the soil, and how they should be handled immediately after being found.
You will also be joined by the truffle hunter’s most precious ally — a magnificent Lagotto with an exceptional sense of smell.
Upon returning to Zerbosco, you will enjoy the fruits of your search and learn how to clean, preserve, and pair truffles. In case the hunt is less fruitful, you will still have the opportunity to taste truffles previously found and prepared by the truffle hunter. The experience also includes a tasting of Zerbosco’s 4 wine labels.
Indicative Program:
10:30 AM – Meeting at the winery. Introduction to the Zerbosco team and the truffle hunter.
Truffle hunting excursion (approximately 1 hour)
Return to the winery
Tasting of truffle-based products and lunch
Wine tasting and visit to the winery.
Truffle tasting: oil with truffle, soft chees with truffle and pure truffle
