Here, the volcanic terroir and local tradition give life to unique wines. Your experience begins with an immersive tour of the vineyards that grow the native grapes that distinguish Cantine Olivella's wine production: Catalanesca, Caprettone, and Piedirosso. Together, we'll explore the region's history to appreciate its aromas and flavors. The experience continues at the winery, where you'll admire the innovative production facility and learn about the winemaking process. This is followed by a guided tasting of five wines that represent Cantine Olivella's identity: Hèbon – Spumante Metodo Classico Katà – Catalanesca del Monte Somma IGP Emblema – Vesuvio Caprettone DOP Lacrimabianco – Lacryma Christi Vesuvio DOP Lacrimanero – Lacryma Christi Vesuvio Rosso DOP.
The tasting is paired with a full menu that follows seasonal trends and showcases the typical products of Vesuvius: Cantine Olivella extra virgin olive oil; sourdough pizza with seasonal vegetables; broken candles or spaghetti with Vesuvius Piennolo cherry tomatoes DOP; and dessert with homemade Pellecchiella del Vesuvius apricot jam.
