Here is what's in store for you
Anastasia Triantafillou estate invites you on a journey through the vineyards, wine, food and a distillery visit encapsulating the essence of Greek gastronomy and cuisine. It offers you a truly immersive and memorable experience in discovering the rich flavors and traditions of the region.
You start by taking a tour through the vineyards followed by an explanation of the cultivation methods and process. Once you have taken in the sun, you approach the outdoor bar to have an in-depth wine tasting while discussing the winemaking methods used by the estate. Later, you will certainly develop an appetite during a cooking lesson providing an opportunity to learn about Greek cuisine and participate in the culinary process. While participation is optional, it is an enjoyable and interactive experience that we recommend.
Once the cooking part comes to a delightful conclusion, you are invited to the restaurant area of Anastasia Triantafillou estate, which offers a captivating view overlooking the vineyards. Here, the sumptuous multi-course meal in the style of tapas (called in Greek "mezedes") is served, paired with the different wines of the estate's production. The menu predominantly features vegetarian options, showcasing the freshest local ingredients. The example of the menu is as follows: local bread, Greek salad, tzatziki, tirokafteri, eggplant salad, fried potatoes, meatballs, dolmades, black-eyed peas, pitaroudia, zucchini & cheese balls, fried feta with honey and sesame seeds. After your meal is completed, you are invited indoors where the intricate process of distillation is explained, shedding light on the techniques used to transform pressed grapes into the esteemed local grape distillate known as "tsipouro". To conclude the experience, you will sample this distinctive spirit, known for its digestive qualities.

Reviews of this Experience
nice wine & cooking class
host jason explained everything very well, the "cooking class" is more a fun way to try, not that much cooking itself, but we got the recipes für the dishes right away and enjoyed really good (and mostly vegetarian food).
would be great if there are also soweit kind of transport options (there might be if you book via a hotel i guess?), there ist noch publik transport (from faliraki) so we shared a taxi.

Fantastic!
The wine we purchased to bring home was a white wine with a blue oval label. It says “Taxideftis - Athiri” on the bottle. I believe it was number 3 of the white wines we tasted on the day. Definitely recommend this wine. Although, many other nice ones too!

Enjoyable experience with Greek wine and food
Very enjoyable. Recommend coming ready to learn, ask questions, open to appreciate the vineyards’s style of wine, and more importantly be prepared to eat vast amounts of food!
