Single-Vineyard Wine Tasting and Tour with Local Products at Cesari in Fumane
Hier ist, was dich erwartet
Your visit begins at the Cesari winery in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, where a member of the Cesari hospitality team will greet you with coffee and biscuits. The experience starts with an introduction to the Valpolicella wine region. Using a detailed map of the DOC area, you'll learn about its distinct subzones and winemaking heritage.
Next, you'll follow your guide on a tour through the winery. The path traces the journey of the grapes from the reception area to the drying loft for the 'appassimento' process, then through the winemaking facilities and into the ageing cellar. The tour concludes in the wine shop for a guided tasting of four wines. You will sample a Lugana and three expressions from the winery's Bosan range: Valpolicella Classico Superiore, Ripasso Classico Superiore, and Amarone Classico Riserva.
The Bosan wines are sourced exclusively from a single vineyard of the same name, giving them a distinct identity that reflects their specific terroir. This tasting is a chance to understand the depth and elegance that a single plot of land can express. The wines are served with a platter of local Veronese products which, depending on the season, may include cured meats like Soppressa Veronese and Pancetta Pepata, and cheeses such as Monte Veronese Mezzano and aged Asiago.
