Vineyard walk and wine tasting in Tuscany Maremma

We’ll walk through our oldest vineyards, where Cabernet Franc has been growing in harmony with nature for decades. Every plant has a story to tell—of balance, resilience, and care. The path then leads to the cellar, where large concrete tanks hold wines in transformation, revealing the rhythms of the land and the quiet patience of winemaking.

Finally, the moment we’ve been waiting for: a full tasting of all our wines, including Ampeleia, our pure Cabernet Franc, born in the very vineyards we’ve just explored. A selection of local products will complete the experience, offering a true taste of the Alta Maremma.

The vineyard walk is always guided, and the same member of our team then leads the tasting in our tasting room. The six current-vintage wines (the vintage changes during the year) are Unlitro (red, from Alicante Nero, Sangiovese, Mourvèdre and Alicante Bouschet), Rosato di Ampeleia (rosé, from Carignano and Alicante Nero), Bianco di Ampeleia (white, from Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia Bianca and Ansonica), Mezzo Millennio (red, 100% Alicante Nero), Cento Respiri (red, 100% Cabernet Franc) and Ampeleia (100% Cabernet Franc), all IGT Toscana. The board usually includes cold cuts such as prosciutto, homemade porchetta and capocollo, raw-milk sheep cheeses, crostini and our own olive oil, all sourced from small local producers; the selection may vary with the season. Children join the vineyard walk and the cellar visit, and are served water.
