Über das Weingut und die Weine

I recently bought the estate in AOC Castillon near St Emilion. It was for me a complete reconversion and I was obliged to learn my new job during these past years. First we make the house livable and little by little I modernize the winery. Visitors are alwas welcome as I like to share my passion of wine and also because I like to transmit my knowledge.

The wineyard is composed of two types of grapes varieties: Merlot and Cabernet sauvignon. So I make only red wines. It's also and obligation in this part of Bordeaux area if you want to have the AOC Castillon label. All the plants are around the house in 11Ha. 2 types of grapes but 3 types of wines. I age my wine in concrete tanks, barrels (not new) and amphoras. One of them came from Toscana as craftmen are notorious there. So 3 different tastes !
