Über das Weingut und die Weine

Dragoshinov is a boutique family business in Northern Bulgaria, Danubian Plain region. We produce only 8,000 bottles per year. The winery is located in a small village called Natsovtsi, where we have roots dating back 180 years. The village is just 15 km south of Veliko Tarnovo, the medieval capital of Bulgaria. This city is one of the must-see places in the country and a visit to our winery is a perfect complement to your stay in the city, adding an intriguing experience of rural Bulgaria.

While our first harvest was in 2019, our business has a longer history. It is based on the winemaking philosophy of the owner, Daniel Dragoshinov, a talented and experienced oenologist. We produce very small series, ranging from 300 to 1,400 bottles.

It is a joy to welcome our guests to the winery, to share our wine, experience and knowledge with them.

We work closely with vineyard owners, carefully selecting the grapes for our wine. Hand-picked and tenderly processed fruit, along with attention to every step of the winemaking process, gives a wine we are proud of.

The whites we produce are Aligoté, the local Red Misket, and the all-time-classic Chardonnay aged both with oak and accacia. The reds are Syrah, Merlot and Marselan. A classical Pinot Noir is the rose wine we produce.
