Fattoria Montereggi - Off the beaten track
A great opportunity to see how small batch wine is made in the area. The farm has a rustic feel and the hosts are friendly and authentic. The wines and olive oil are excellent and cellar door very reasonably priced. Spend an hour or two here away from the tourist crowds of Florence and get a feel for everyday life in the tuscan countryside.
NB: Best to drive or have transportation pre booked as it might prove difficult to get a return taxi into Florence.

Über das Weingut und die Weine
The Montereggi Farm is located in a unique landscape context. Located in the municipality of Fiesole at over 400m above sea level in the Mugnone Valley and less than 15 minutes from Florence, it offers the opportunity to appreciate the Tuscan countryside in all its beauty! In particular, here in the open air and surrounded by nature it is possible to still live appreciating the taste and simplicity of things of the past, a glass of wine, spring water, bread with oil, the shadow of cherry trees, walnuts and apricots.
