FLORI

Cantina Flori is a family winery in Treiso, a small village in the heart of the Langhe, in the Barbaresco area of Piedmont. The Flori family has grown grapes here for four generations. In 2020 they decided to start making wine from the best grapes of their own vineyards, combining the experience handed down over the years with the enthusiasm of the new generation.

The vineyards are farmed with a careful and responsible approach, following the SQNPI national certification for integrated production. Every year the family selects the best grapes, which are picked by hand into small crates, and all the wines are made in the traditional way in the recently built winery. The family's plan is to grow gradually while keeping high quality standards.

Visitors are welcomed personally by the owner and winemaker, who leads a tour of the winery and talks about the family's approach to viticulture and its bond with the Langhe. The visit ends in the tasting room with a guided tasting of the estate's wines.

Cantina Flori produces four wines from its vineyards in Treiso, each made from a single grape variety typical of the Langhe.

Barbaresco DOCG is made from 100% Nebbiolo and is the estate's most important red, from one of the great appellations of Piedmont. Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is also made from 100% Nebbiolo. Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is made from 100% Dolcetto, a traditional red of the area. Langhe Arneis DOC is a white wine made from 100% Arneis, the native white grape of the area.

All the wines come from grapes selected and harvested by hand and are vinified in the traditional way.
