Ottima esperienza

4/1/23

La Regola winery is situated on the Tuscany Coast, an area always renowned for the production of excellent wines. The region, located in the valley of the river Cecina, close to Riparbella, is plentiful of vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees so eloquently celebrated by Giosuè Carducci who dedicated his poem to the nearby Bolgheri. The winery owns 20 hectares, some in flat land (50 m above sea level) and some others on the hills (200 m above sea level). The vineyards, cordon-trained and guyot trained, with a plant density per acre of 4.000 7.500, are entirely farmed following the natural organic agriculture from 2015.

In addition to the cultivation of local varieties such as Vermentino and Sangiovese, the estate has introduced some French varieties among which Cabernet Franc lead to the production of the most important wine: Cru La Regola. The winery also produces a dessert wine from Trebbiano, Malvasia and Colombana grapes and a sparkling wine: a Manseng classic method with a particular finesse and a long persistence. Thanks to the new eco-friendly building, the estate manages to convey the value of a unique land where the nature, since the Etruscan period, expresses the constant harmony between man and his environment by keeping itself pure and pristine.
