Una piacevole degustazione di Montalcino

È stata una piacevole esperienza e in una location molto particplare dato che la cantina è posta sottoterra rispetto ai vigneti dove è stata costruita la cantina, è stato un bel percorso dove ci è stato spiegato in maniera esaustiva le particolarità, la storia del territorio e i procedimenti che portano dalla vite alle bottiglie di montalcino che abbiamo potuto degustare successivamente. Il personale è molto cordiale, se ricapitare in zona, la rifarei volentieri!

Il tour è stato molto interessante, la nostra guida Angela preparatissima e tanto gentile. I vini assaggiati durante la degustazione veramente ottimi. La location offre una vista stupenda sul paesaggio.

Angela è il risultato chiave dell'esperienza: cordiale, preparata e super disponibile. Sempre chiara e dettagliata nelle informazioni, aggiunge personalità all'esperienza. Passeggiare nel vigneto permette di calarsi a pieno nel contesto naturalistico e paesaggistico che tanto influisce sul prodotto finale; visitare la cantina fa conoscere i retroscena, l'impegno e la cura dietro questo lavoro che è anche passione. Vini superbi con degustazione in una sala con vista panoramica sulle colline toscane e sul monte Amiata.
Qualche stuzzichino da mangiare in più (alcuni vini sono molto importanti) e miglior segnalazione della strada di accesso (alla fine molto dissestata) soprattutto per chi non è avvezzo.

La visita all'azienda Agricola San Polo
è stata bellissima. Ci ha accolto la signora Angela, gentilissima e preparatissima. La location è meravigliosa e curata in ogni dettaglio. La degustazione è stata assolutamente convincente, i vini sono di una qualità superiore. Ci ritorneró sicuramente! La consiglio a chi vuol trascorrere qualche ora in un luogo meraviglioso!

Not to be missed!!!

This was one of the most significant experiences for us in Tuscany! Angela was so kind and helpful before we even left for our trip. She actually called me on the phone from Italy to work on our arrangements. The tour was about an hour and a half and included touring the vineyard, cellar, and a tasting. She was knowledgeable and answered all of our one million questions. She offered to take our picture in the most beautiful spots so we didnt have to interrupt the tour for that. The wine was, of course divine, and we bought two bottles. She left the room as we discussed what to buy and how many which I thought was very respectful. No pressure to buy at all. I highly recommend this tour and I hope to go back again one day to this lovely place.
Our tour was on a Sunday afternoon during the last time slot of the day and we had the whole place to ourselves! This winery is stunning and doesn’t feel like a big corporation. I love the whole feel of the place!

San Polo Montalcino ist ein innovatives Weingut in Montalcino, das Tradition und Nachhaltigkeit miteinander verbindet. Das größtenteils unterirdisch gelegene Weingut folgt den umweltfreundlichen Prinzipien der Bioarchitektur und der sozialen Verantwortung. In jeder Phase des Produktionsprozesses, von den Weinbergen bis zur Verpackung, wird auf Qualität und minimale Umweltbelastung geachtet. Poggio San Polo ist seit 2017 biologisch zertifiziert und wurde 2013 für seine Nachhaltigkeitsbemühungen mit dem CasaClima Wine-Zertifikat ausgezeichnet. Das Weingut erstreckt sich über 16 Hektar, von denen 8 Hektar dem Brunello di Montalcino DOCG gewidmet sind, der in einem erstklassigen, belüfteten Terroir wächst.

Die Weine von San Polo verkörpern die Exzellenz von Montalcino, insbesondere der berühmte Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, der für sein edles, tiefes und kraftvolles Profil bekannt ist. Das Weingut produziert auch jüngere, frischere Weine wie den Rosso di Montalcino, der den Charakter und die Intensität der Böden der Region widerspiegelt. Mit Weinbergen auf 450 Metern Höhe und einer optimalen Lage sorgt Poggio San Polo für eine ideale Reifung der Trauben und liefert Weine, die sowohl Tradition als auch Modernität respektieren und gleichzeitig auf Nachhaltigkeit und Qualität setzen.
