Here is what's in store for you
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Paris, complete with delicious buttery croissants. As you head to Champagne (approximately 1.5 hours away), your guide will provide insights into the world of Champagne, from its production process to the region's rich history. The picturesque vineyards and charming villages will captivate you upon arrival.
Your day commences with a cellar tour at one of the renowned Champagne producers like Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Lanson, Mumm, or Mercier. If you have any preference for one of the houses listed previously, please inform us, and we will try our best to allocate for you this house, upon availability. You will be revealed the secrets of Champagne production and history as you explore their cellars. For the next stop, depending on the day you might visit the Reims Cathedral or the picturesque village of Hautvillers, home to the church where Dom Pérignon once served as a cellarmaster. Before lunch, weather permitting, enjoy a unique "wild tasting" in the vineyard led by your private wine expert guide. Savor a special cuvée and uncover the secrets of Champagne amidst the picturesque vineyards. Your guide will share insights into vine growing, what makes Champagne unique, and the current practices of the vine growers. It's also the perfect moment to capture beautiful photos from the scenic spot chosen by your guide.
Now, it's time to savor a well-deserved break at a charming family-owned winery or a traditional restaurant, where you'll relish a delectable local lunch paired with Champagne. As the day draws to a close, you'll visit a winery or a cooperative where you can observe Champagne-making equipment and indulge in more sparkling delights. This visit will equip you with the knowledge to discuss Champagne like a seasoned connoisseur. After this enriching and picturesque day, your guide will safely transport you back to your Paris hotel in the late afternoon.
