Cantina e Vini

Our family has been producing wine for hundreds of years to the point that we have a barrel of 1890 in the old town of Fermo, where even then, the wine was made in large stone basins on three levels. The courtyard was used to unload grapes. Later, grapes were destemmed by holes. Berries were sent to large tanks where they were pressed by foot, and then to a smaller pool that conveyed the must. Later, the barrels were crammed into a basement 10 meters below ground. One of our wines that represents more our territory is the grape variety Pecorino that in bottle is called "AMOS" Falerio Pecorino Dop, an historic vine so named because it was a wild vine that grew near the pastures of sheep. Despite the fact that it has very small grapes on a low production, it has a large sugar content, around 23 °, that in alcohol is approximately two-thirds, over 14 ° alcohol. A true flagship among white wines. Its aromas are ripe apricot, ripe peach, Litkhi, fruity and floral with broom and acacia, slight scents of honey, field herbs, tangy mineral good aromatic persistence, pale yellow. However, another wine that represents us is the "BARUC" Rosso Piceno Dop, a unique blend with 50% Montepulciano 35% Sangiovese and 15% Tintorina (Tear) that is a historic vine of our territory so named because it dyed hands a lot. This great red wine awarded by AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) is considered one the best wines of our region, winner of the 1st prize in a national competition. Furthermore, it is one of the most popular wines in the local and foreign market for its soft tannins and scents of wild strawberries, raspberry, red rose, carnation, blueberry jam, spicy clove, clear with its ruby red with purple shades, almost cardinals. The entire company is cured only with natural products. In our countryside we only use copper and sulfur. The whole vine is treated by hand and we do not produce only a few bunches per vine in order to have a high quality wine.
