There is a spirit of family transmission in the Domaine Schneider. It was David's grandfather, the current winegrower, who created the estate in 1958. In the 1960s, he bought a house next to his vineyard and began working his land. At the time, Robert Schneider sold his wines in bulk: he was also a wine buyer for Alsatian merchants. 

In a family of winegrowers, it was only natural that Jean-Marc, Robert's son, grew up and spent his childhood in the vineyards. He naturally took over the business and began major development work on the vineyard. He began by extending the size of the vineyard to the 11 hectares we know today. He continues by modernizing all the viticultural equipment used in the vineyards and in the cellar.

We are producing all range of Alsace wine including white, red aged in oak, and rosé.

All our wines are organic (certified by ECOCERT), we are also producing natural wines including "petillant naturels"
