The wines of La Trava are a journey of taste and simplicity.

The company was founded in 1999 by the ambition of Giorgio and Maria Grazia who -driven by their passion for the territory- buy and renovate the historic "La Trava" farmhouse, on the hills of Mango, in Cuneo province. The first bottle of Moscato was produced in 2000. Over the years Giorgio and Maria Grazia have passed on the love for their work to their daughter Manuela, who in 2010 took over the management of the winery.

Our philosophy is one: simplicity. Both in the cultivation of the vine and in the production of wine. We carry out all the work in the rows respecting environment and nature that surrounds them. Green is the predominant color of our vines, both of the actual plants and that of the grass that grows between the rows.

La Trava winery grows and produces quality wines typical of the area since many years, ranging from Barolo to Moscato. Thanks to the work and passion for a Langa area rich in hills suited to the production of sweet Moscato wine, the wines of La Trava are now sold throughout Europe.

Maria Grazia Rivetti and Giorgio Costa follow the various stages of processing in the cellar and their method is precise: enhancing the grapes aromas, avoiding the use of barriques, using the best bunches: a true expression of "Langa di Mango".

On our website you can find different kind of wine, the most representative of this region: Moscato d'Asti, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barolo, Barbaresco and many other. Since 2016 we focused my attention on a new wine obtained from Barbera over-ripened grapes mixed with Cabernet Sauvignon aged in barrique, and Barbera aged in barrique, in order have a well balanced wine that matches the taste of everyone!
