It is in the extreme part of Salento where Torre Ospina is located, south from the gulf of Gallipoli, towards Capo di Leuca, exactly in the territory of Racale. Torre Ospina is a winery born from an idea of Quintino Manco, a very young winemaker who, since 2010 with determination and passion, follows the whole production, from the management of vineyards - inherited from his grandfather - to winery operations. The soil has a clayey structure with calcareous, tufaceous and sandy presence. Vineyards are cultivated with the autochthonous Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Verdeca grapes and worked with manual care of the vines. The maps are reproduced in the back label of the respective wines in order to make traceability evident. During harvesting the best bunches are selected, while vinification is followed by the careful eye of the expert and with the most advanced technologies. The simple and professional environment together with friendliness and hospitality make Torre Ospina an important company in the production of a product that combines the best quality with the right price.
