Langhe & Roero Wine Journey at Poderi Moretti
Here is what's in store for you
Poderi Moretti winery is the natural evolution of a historic family business, born from the union of the Occhetti and Moretti families, whose presence in the area dates back to 1630, as recorded in the ancient land register of Monteu Roero.
This two-hour experience begins in the vineyard next to the winery, where Riccardo will illustrate the seasonal work carried out in the vines. The visit then continues to the production and ageing cellars, among steel tanks and wooden barrels, where he will explain the various stages of wine production and maturation.
The tour concludes with a guided tasting led by Alessandra, featuring Roero Arneis DOCG, Langhe DOC (Barbera or Dolcetto), Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, and Roero DOCG, accompanied by grissini and a tasting plate with a selection of salami and cheeses from Piedmont.
