Marsala: Historic winery tour with wine tasting at Cantine Mothia

On the tour of Cantine Mothia, visitors will be welcomed by one of the winery's owners and have the opportunity to admire the fascinating inner courtyard of the ancient Baglio. They will hear the story of the Bonomo family, the birth of the winery and the renovation of the baglio. They will be taken to the winemaking and aging departments in steel and wood, receiving information about wine production. The next stop will be the ancient barrel cellar in fine oak wood, inside which the fascinating history of Marsala wine is told. At the end of the tour there will be a stop in the tasting room with the tasting of 5 wines of our production: a White, a Red, a sweet wine, a sweet Marsala and a dry Marsala. Tasting done with personalized glass glasses and the wines will be paired with typical Sicilian products. There will be small tastings of seasoned olives, sun-dried tomatoes, pizza rianata and sesame cookies. Shopping opportunities will be available.
