Discover the archaeological site of Pompeii and dive into the local wine & food culture with this wine tour along the Amalfi Coast!
Meet your private driver at your accommodation at 09.00 am. From there you will drive up above the hills of the Amalfi Coast first, and then take the high-speed road to Pompeii. Once in Pompeii, the site is very vast, and a professional guide can be arranged for you on request. The entrance fee to the archaeological site is included.
At the end of your visit to Pompeii, it will be time for lunch, which you'll enjoy in a Spectacular Winery at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius.
Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy a special wine tasting experience including in total 5 I.G.T. and D.O.C. wines; 1 Sparkling white wine, 1 white, 1 rosé, and 2 reds, all produced with the original grapes varieties introduced to the area by the Romans. Your lunch menu' will also be very original, including traditional recipes from the Roman Empire. You'll enjoy an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, coffee, and of course, Limoncello.
At the conclusion of your experience, you will be driven back to your accommodation.
